How we collect, use and protect your data in the Mumayaz app
- We do not sell or lease users' personal information to outside parties for their own marketing purposes unless the user has expressly agreed.
We may share personal information where it is necessary:
- to comply with legal obligations or official requests;
- to uphold and enforce our own policies;
- to address allegations that posted content infringes the rights of others;
- to safeguard the rights, property, or safety of any person.
- We rely on a combination of measures — encryption, password protection, and physical security controls among them — to protect personal information from unauthorised access or
disclosure.
- Sharing another person's contact details through the Service is not permitted.
- Breaching the laws of the United Arab Emirates and/or the Service's terms of use may result in the loss of privacy protections over personal information.
- Personal electronic details remain confidential within the Service unless the user chooses to disclose them.
- The Application's policies and terms and conditions may be revised or updated from time to time to keep pace with requirements and standards.
- Users are encouraged to review these sections regularly to remain aware of any changes.
- Any revision takes effect on the date it is published.
We use tools from Meta Platforms (Facebook, Instagram) to measure how well our ads work and to show you more relevant ads.
In the app: the Mumayaz app includes Meta's SDK. It records when the app is installed and opened, and actions such as viewing a number or plate, searching, adding to favourites, and contacting a seller. It also collects basic device information (device model, operating system, app version, language) and an app identifier created by the SDK.
From our servers: when you register, log in, post a listing or request, complete a paers report that event toMeta. For payments this includes the amount and currency. To match the to you, we send your pholast name, country anduser ID only in hashed (encrypted, one-way) form, never as plain text, together with your IP adtion above.
Advertising ID: on iOS, tising identifier withMeta only if you allow tracking when the app asks. On Android, we shaunless you have turned og ID in your devicesettings.
Your choices: you can change this at any time in iOS Settings → PrivaSecurity → Tracking, or Ads. In your Facebooksettings, you can also review and disconnect "Your activity off Meta technologies". Meta handprivacy policy:https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy
